BUILDCHAIN

Digital Product Passport
for the Built Environment.

What material was used, who made it, and how much carbon was emitted — recorded verifiably for direct use in green certifications.

Why buildchain

Cut data-gathering time to zero.

01

No more all-nighters at handover

Months of digging up material info disappear. Records are captured the moment materials arrive on site — already in EU DPP standard format.

02

BREEAM, DGNB and LEED submissions in one click

EN 15804 carbon report, material EPDs, and delivery records are auto-packaged. Submit directly to certification bodies — no conversion needed.

03

Respond to EU buyers instantly

Get ahead of ESPR DPP requirements. Material origin, carbon, and certifications are always ready in EU standard format — share on demand.

Five answers per material

One material delivery,
one EU DPP record.

Example: a 4,500 m² XPS insulation delivery to the Berlin Mitte office construction site, recorded as a complete EU DPP entry.

How it stays verifiable

Verify it yourself,
without trusting us.

Every record carries a SHA-256 hash. Certifiers recompute it from the same data and compare — there's no need to trust buildchain's database.

  1. 01
    Material delivery recorded

Material name, quantity, supplier, and timestamp are captured as-is.

  2. 02
    SHA-256 hash attached

The full record is hashed into a 64-character value and stored alongside.

Changing 800 m³ to 801 m³ produces a completely different hash.
  3. 03
    Sent to the certifier

Data and hash are bundled and submitted as a single package.

  4. 04
    Independent re-verification

The certifier recomputes the hash with the same public algorithm and checks for an exact match.

Additional trust foundations
EPD data from external sources

Material carbon values come from official EPD bodies — IBU, EPD International — auto-synced into buildchain. Not figures we entered ourselves.

Timestamp immutability

Registration time is stored with each record and cannot be altered afterwards. Point-in-time originals, not back-fitted data.

Certifications we package

Flow
From site data to certification package — three steps
01
Material delivery records

Materials arriving on site are captured via QR and stored on the ledger instantly.

02
Carbon settlement

Per-material EPD carbon values are auto-summed into a project total.

03
Certification package

Carbon totals, material EPDs, and ledger records bundle into a single submission PDF.

Built for these companies

For companies facing
EU regulations head-on.

EU-bound manufacturers

Preparing for DPP mandates

Organize material EPDs and supply history before ESPR DPP applies, and respond instantly when EU importers request data.

EU-certified contractors

Pursuing BREEAM, DGNB and LEED

Material EPDs, delivery logs, and carbon data are auto-organized into a submission package — months of post-handover digging disappear.

EU project owners

Demanding Taxonomy alignment

Verify material origin and carbon figures yourself. Securing EU Taxonomy alignment data becomes straightforward.
